    US M111A2 * fuze

    Got his donated last week a nice US M111A2* Fuze.
    Stampings include
    FLARE FUZE
    MECH TIME M111A2*
    3-44 LOT ?????????
    TIGHTEN AFTER SETTING
    GT
    Setting ring numbered from 6-90

    Hi allan whats not generally known is that this fuze appears on RAF stores lists (AP110F-0001-1 dated sept 71) and was fitted to British flares using an adaptor.

    Here's an example without any ID markings. A note to "TIGHTEN AFTER SETTING" with an arrow pointing to the knurled knob and U.S./TIME. The number 3 is inkstamped on one of the vanes.
