Latest acquisition - 32 cm. Wurfkrper Fl

For those interested, here is my most recent purchase, 32cm. Wurfkrper Flamm (on far right in original "packkiste"). This version of the wurfkorper was an incendiary device and filled with a liquid petroleum. The 28cm contained high explosive.

In the middle is another better condition, but painted 32cm Wurfkrper Fl, and of course on the left is the 15cm Wgr. 41 Nebelwerfer, which is in amazing condition, and has been excellently repainted.

- Does anyone know the quantities of these items manufactured by year
- Does anyone have another fuse for the 32cm Wurfkorper.?

I hope you enjoy :)

Here's some interesting links on the German Nebelwerfers and Wurfkorpers.

Wow really excellent looking item. Thank you for the pictures.

Have you any idea where it was before you acquired it as I am just amazed that such a big wooden crate would survive to this day?

Here some more, 15 cm, 21 cm, 28 cm, 32 cm and 38 cm. The 30 cm is underway.

Very nice Rich thanks for showing them.
Looks like you're branching out!
Dave.

Thanks guys, it is a bit of a diversion from me, but hell they were still AFV fired items (...or at least on some occasions!!)

Blu97, you nonchalantly mention 38cm rocket, by that you mean a 38cm Raketen Werfer 61, or Sturmtiger round....absolutely awesome!!!!, I believe there is one in Munster plus Sturmtiger itself and obviously there is a barrel in Bovington.

In addition to my two questions in my first post, can anyone shed any light on the following marking in the Packkiste

Hi

very big stuff, impressive. May i ask the price of this kind of thing? i really have no idea...

Thx

Well I paid about the same amount as I did for my 8,8cm Kwk43 rounds....which are someway off JCs prices!

Hi RichB,
I believe that is a weight stamp. Below are attached a few images of other examples. The third pic shows the long version:
Heeres-Munition, Gesamptgew. 126,8 kg.
Yours and my first two look like the Gesamptgew. is abreviated. Maybe you can figure out what the abreviation is. That would be great !
Thanks,
botcheg

My group (www.panzgd.co.uk) is converting our half track SD.kfz 251 to a Stuka Zu Fu varient. We need the measurements of the wooden packing crate for the 32 cm Worfkrper Fl to allow us to make reproductions.

Can anyone oblige please? I found one for sale which provided great images and rough measurements below. If I could get to view one of these first hand or obtain accurate measurements it will make our task so much easier:
