3inch Smith gun practice round

previously in the id section,This was positively identified by Roller63 as a practice projectile for the UK ww2 3inch smith gun as used by the home guard,sse replys for further info and links regarding this weapon,during cleaning up it was found to have been painted black with a red hazard band.
In the drawing of the practice round it shows a layer of pitch with a powder substitute below,This example only has a pitch filling with no powder substitute

Some stampings were also found .
