unknown projectile

25pounder

Member
during excavation works in northern France , we found an intact projectile , fired but not exploded , brass driving band intact and in a very good state , despite almost 90 years hidden in the ground
I assume it's a WW 1 relic
as shown , height is 32.5 cm
diameter is 10 cm
any idea what kind of projectile this is ?

Yes , I'm almost sure it's a German 10 cm projectile , missing the upper part and fuse
what I'm looking after is a photo of an original or restored specimen to restore this one
any help apreciated
