ELAZ 55 German fuze

Hello, Can anyone tell me what the "EL" in ELAZ stands for? Any information on the meaning of the other markings and what the cap says would be appreciated . THANKS! Pat

ELAZ stands for ELectrischer Anschlag Zunder or -translated- Electric impact fuze.
The text on the cap says: Remove cap and gasket before inserting the fuze into the bomb body

gyz 41 This type 55 was made in 1941 by Steatit-Magnesia A-G. Dralowid-Werk,Telttow,Potsdamerstr.57

ELAZ stands for ELectrischer Anschlag Zunder or -translated- Electric impact fuze.
The text on the cap says: Remove cap and gasket before inserting the fuze into the bomb body

Dear pzgr40 you are nearly right its not Anschlag it should be Aufschlag but the rest are completly right !
