    Hi the largest wood and brass drill rounds i have ever seen are the Bat rounds, they are monsters and were put up for disposal around 10 to 15 years ago for about £30 each at the time. not seen one for sale for some time though.

    HI Mark,

    The round on the left is a 4.5" with a carrier projectile (for the 4.5" Mark 3 Gun? from memory) - the top has the remains (threaded section) of the fuse stuck in - I did have intentions to at one stage to "cold chisel" it out and replace it with a complete one.....

    I intend to post in my gallery, photos of my "Ex-Collection" (as I only collect fuses now). I started to scan some old photos, but need a little more time to sort out the scans, then start to re-photograph and organise the fuses.
