    U.S. 4.2 mortar rounds

    Here are a couple of 4.2 rounds that I recently picked up. The CG (phosgene) is an untouched original and the H GAS (mustard gas) has been steel shot peened and given a new coat of paint and stenciling (professionally done at an ordnance facility many years ago) not a collector repaint. The person I got them from has had them since the early 70's. Pat

    Very nice. I see the inert markings, are they empty, or inert filled?
    All dug or live ordnance shown in my posts is under EOD control and has been or will be dealt with accordingly by EOD personnel
