    6pr 10cwt round

I just thought I'd add a few photos of a 6pr10cwt in the collection. For some reason this round is one of the most difficult (for me at least) to find 6 pounder rounds. I've had the case for years, the projectile came as a swap from a very good BOCN member. The fuze was all good except the top which was a little bent so back to the spares box and a new top and tracer completed it.
If anyone else has any variations of this round I'd be interested in seeing photos please.
    All INERT etc.
    Thanks,

    Dave.

Really nice round Dave! This is one I haven't seen before. Could you post the case length?

    Thanks,

    John

Thanks John, I've just measured the case length at 467mm with a tape measure so give or take a few mm.
Tony Williams has it listed at 464mm on his web site

Very nice Dave! One of those has been on my "wants" list for a very long time. I don't even have a case...

Thanks Tony, I've never worked out why these ones are quite so difficult to find, after all, they did go into service. Same problem with the 3.7 inch Mk 6 I suppose.
