    McAdam Rifle Grenade

I ran across this grenade when I was indexing one set of early US ammunition drawings that I have. I am sure there are some of these out there, but I have never seen one. Anybody have one that they are willing to post some photos of? So ar this is the only drawing of it that I have run across.

    In 1915 Canada adopted

The McAdam folding shovel, also used as a shield which you could fire the Ross Rifle through.(apperently it wasn't bullet proof) It sounds like the same guy. It didn't work well and they are staggeringly rare. I have never seen one and that's over 35 years of looking.

Must be he used the shovel to bury all of the grenades and then threw the last shovel in the hole also! Never heard of the shovel but it is certainly possible it is the same guy behind both items.
