    V2 (A4) missile, "A4 Fibel", download

Just in case somebody is interested in the V2 missile (correct designation A4). This is a quick guide (in color) to the whole missile as it existed for other large weapon systems as well. This is the first time I have seen this one and thought it might be worth to make it available to everybody interested in this subject.

Here the download link to the pdf document (click on free download in the menu):

    EOD,

Thank you for posting this. I wish my understanding of the German language was better - I would like to see how they tied the various frauleins into the enduring actions needed to set-up and launch an A-4. Reminds me of the Army's monthly PS Preventive Maintenance Monthly pocket magazine:

    http://dig.library.vcu.edu/cdm4/inde...ISOROOT=%2Fpsm

Still in print to this day by the way. For some reason we (Marines) have no such monthly publication filled with attractive women telling how to fix and clean things. That is a shame, but at least the Army sends us a bunch each time it is published. Sadly though, the magazine has gotten more Politically Correct since I joined in '85.

    Best Regards
    Gunner

    You are all welcome.

This manual is an "easy approach" and was used already for the well known "Panther-Fibel" and also the "Tiger-Fibel".
They used rhymes where ever they could to make the SOP more catchy to simple soldiers. Of course these booklets never replaced any of the technical manuals which were addressed to technical officers and the like.

    MM,

Good to see you here as well! This is true - we are up to the big boy books of Dick and Jane now.
