U.S M905 Tail Fuze

Darren

Well-Known Member
U.S M905 Tail Fuze which is stamped:

EMPTY
FUZE, BOMB, TAIL, M905 (T77IE4)
LOT SOD-500-5
SPI 30-33

I know nothing about bomb fuzes so cannot even say if this item is complete, would anyone have a photo of a sectioned one of these or a diagram of the insides?

Thanks,
Darren

Thanks Fusse2004 for the diagram and photos of the sectioned fuzes, that's great! Very nice sectioned fuzes that you have there. Very well done and they show all of the detail.

Thanks again,
Darren

The US airforce would use the empty fuzes to practice load and rigging the Bombs for combat turn overs

I did have a feeling that as it was stamped EMPTY it would have been used for training practice or instructional purposes. Thankyou for confirming that.
