thekees, Sorry no marine fuzes (wish I did). And BigGuy, the scovile 1907 fuze is very common as they were used from 1907 through the Korean War. Great War Militaria has 2x 75mm shrapnel shells for sale and both have the 1907 Scovill on top. One of the shells is a little nicer than the other. They are complete (except shell casing). One is 70.00 and the other 100.00.........I do see the Scovill fuzes at militaria shows and militaria stores all over....Dano

Another favorite the Dopp Z96n/A
This would also be amognst my favorite German WW1 fuzes. The survival rate war very poor due to alloy construction and after being buried a short time corroded very heavily. Obviously this one spent little to no time in the ground. Used primarily on 77mm shells the survival rate was poor at best. To find one in any condition beyond poor would be a rarity in itself. I thought the 60.00 price I paid for it years ago was steep but in retrospect it turned out to be quite a bargain..........Dano

GRZ14n/A
A bit cacked but another favorite of mine nonetheless. WW1 German GRZ14n/A dated 1917. A gift from another BOCN member (thanks a bunch Richard). I did a tad of resto to it, but just enough so it retains that "relic" look to it since it is a dug piece. The GRZ14n/A is a unique looking piece and a welcome addition to my fuze collection.....Dano

Dopp.Z.92.n.F
This is a German WW1 artillery fuze that I really like. It is the Dopp.Z.92.n.F. I bought it from a BOCN member (former member) that I can't remember his BOCN moniker but his name was Mike. It is discernable from the other Dopp Z92 series by its rounded and not flat sides. It is not a rare fuze just different and I was glad to get it. Mike was going to Belgium that weekend to rummage through some militaria shops and I told him to keep an eye out for a WW1 German fuze that was "different" and this is what he found. He sold it to me at cost plus shipping. If memory serves shipping was more than the fuze itself. I really like the Dopp Z92 series fuzes so I was excited as a rooster in the hen house to get this one. Where ever you are these days Mike, I still thank you..........Dano

Dopp.Zc/91.
With the German WW1 artillery fuzes it is hard to pick a favorite but the Dopp.Zc/91. ranks right up there in the top in my eyes. Used ONLY on 90mm shells (explosive and shrapnel) would make it somewhat unique in my book. I looked for better than a year to find this one. Of all places I found it on Specialist auctions and it came from Latvia. I think it was 10.00 U.S. + shipping!! It just has that "classic"appearance to it. I have 2 other nice German WW1 fuzes apart for rebuild at the moment and will show when they're finished. This one, if not my favorite ranks up in my top there. Take it from me, this is not one of the easier German WW1 fuzes to locate.......Dano

German WW1 Gr.Z.92
This is absolutely another favorite WW1 German fuze of mine. Had looked for one for several months, then ran across one for 40GBP. I was going to buy it but 70.00 U.S. at the time was too much money even as badly as I wanted it. Well about a week later this showed up on gun broker along with a Dopp Z92 and an HZ14. I got the trio of German WW1 fuzes for about 40.00 if memory serves plus about 18.00 shipping (these things are heavy) To pick an actual favorite would be impossible but I like the GR.Z.92, the Dopp Zc/91, all the Minenwerfer fuzes and the DoppZ96n/A...Dano

Nice Dopp. Z. 96 NA! I have a regular Dopp. Z. 96 on top of my 77mm shrapnel shell. Not too sure what the difference is. I picked this one up at a militaria shop on my visit to the Normandy beaches (yea, buying WWI stuff on a WWII trip). I didn't know what it was at the time. I tried to take the fuze apart but it it had a hard impact and I don't want to tear it up. Thanks for showing the pics!
