    WWI French 75mm inert HE...

    P1010005.JPGP1010004.JPGP1010006.JPG

I don't collect trench art but since I'm very interested in WWI French/American 75mm projectiles & fuzes, I couldn't let this piece escape me. It's a pristine WWI French 75mm HE with the following very old photo-etching included: HOMMAGE AU MARECHAL FOCH (Homage to Marshal Foch) and his faint profile.

I've also added a few recent 75mm French fuze additions from Ben.

    Best regards,

    Randall

    Hello zephyr4,

Yes, the projectiles original paint is 99% intact. It's a dark copper-brown color while the stenciling appears to be black paint or ink.

    Best regards,

    Randall
