Received the mine today and had a first quick look inside - excellent stuff for little money.
Wish we had a comparable work on German equipment over here.
Thanks to David and all other people envolved.

Funny hearing you wish there were comparable works onGerman items. I don't collect German but seems German reference books werealways plentiful here in the USA. And nothing was available over here on theBritish/Commonwealth front since there was very little interest. Guess that iswhy the British element is cut out of so many movie projects (at least overhere) as they are marketing to an American public and a shocking amount of peoplehere are oblivious to the British/Canadian/Australian contributions during the war.

Also glad to hear your copy of the book made the tripsafely to Germany. We usually only have a handful of each title that make itthere. Collectors in the surrounding countries have lots of orders so I guessthey are interested in the people that liberated them. And the books really area community effort. They wouldn't have been possible without help from othercollectors and researchers. Some from this very forum that have been collectingfor a long time like Mike S., Dave S. and Norman B.

And we still have some copies of the expanded edition of the equipment book as well which has 664 total pages and can be found a this link:

Both books were printed in limited numbers so get your copy at cover price while they are available.
    David,

The last one was excellent and I can't think of a superlative that does the new edition justice; I can only say it is an absolutely brilliant edition. This should be on the bookshelf of every collector, reenactor, WW2 military history student (and lecturer), museum curator and militaria dealer. Shrewd investment too by the sound of what the first edition is selling for!

PM me your email address please so I can thank you properly.
