    A time killer

While looking for one thing on the web, I stumbled upon this site: http://www.old-picture.com/

A whole lotsa old pics. Mostly U.S. stuff, although there are a number of other country "themed" selections. Tons of Civil War pics and some WW1 stuff. Here's a sampling of WW1 vintage ordnance. There's an entire section on artillery. The first pic, with the artillery models, caught my attention. What I wouldn't give to have those in hand. Sadly, there was little in the way of details. Mostly: ". . .measuring shells. . ", ". . .packaging shells. . ." etc. type notes on any given picture. No specs of any sort. :-(

It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal the
neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
