500 lbs GP Mk IV w. No 37 tail pistol

I wander whether is possible that this bomb was fitted with No 845 anti-disturbance device in front which is broken, or just with nose plug which fell off?

    Hello Al'saad,
On your question, I think I may answer that it was a nose plug. If it was a No 845, you should must find pieces of mechanism (look on diagram in att.), or place where these pieces were. What I can see on your first picture is full material (steel or ... ?) in the nose pocket fuze.
If you have more pics, don't hesitate !
Be carefull with a beast like that !

fuse pocket is filled with dry clay and i did not want to take it out to determine whether is anything inside.
this bomb was recovered after it was excavated with front end bucket loader, than loaded on truck and transported while no one noticed that bomb is actually on the truck. during dumping of dirt from the truck bomb fell to the ground and rolled for some 150 meters down the slope before it stopped in one garden.
