    Ammo channel

Hi, I was given this today and thought I would show you all it’s a 50 cal Ammo channel (not sure if that’s the right word) from a B17 its just over 6feet long, the old guy that give it to me had it in his shed since the war,

Yes. Very nice. A feed chute like that would bring $200+ over here. AND it looks to be in excellent condition. Another bonus.

Very nice find indeed Andy, thanks for sharing.
Your post inspired me to take a couple of snaps of an item I have had in the collection for a number of years now, part of a .50 cal MG mount - it is in relic condition. When I purchased this, I was told it had come from a crashed B17, though I think these were used on other American aircraft too.

    kind regards Kev

Hi Tony, thanks that would be helpful as you wouldn't see them inside the feed chute.
