    4.2" Recoilless Mortar Firing

    Thanks so much to US-subs for his archive photos. One in particular was of the 4.2" Recoilless Mortar. I got curious and found this US Army trailing film on it. Two words, HEARING PROTECTION!!

    Excellent - that explains a lot. Thanks for posting.
    All dug or live ordnance shown in my posts is under EOD control and has been or will be dealt with accordingly by EOD personnel
