German LMB Ground Sea Mine, images of

    To All,
I am trying to help out Rob Hoole in getting images of the subject sea mine's detonator, bakelite det. cover, primer and delay clock.
The individual we are trying to assist has fabricated a replica of the LMB and puts on demonstrations and reenactments of the brave RN lads and officers rendering safe the mine during WWII when the sea mine was used in land targets of opportunities.
    Best Regards,
    John aka Bart

    Hi Michel,
Did you take these photos? If so is there a chance of getting closeups of the detonator, cover bung and primer?
    Thank you,
    John

    Waff,
If the LMB(GC) detonator, bung and primer are on BOCN, I can't find them through 'search'.
    Regards,
    John

    John,

Yes I have taken these fotos but it was a while ago. In this map there was also this one but the name tag is gone so this could also be of a seamine or GS or GN type. But maybe it will help.
The GC is in the bombroom of the Diving and demining clearance group of the Royal Dutch Navy. I don't know if they are willing to help you with your project maybe the Navy museum in Den Helder Netherlands they have the good contacts in side the base. Normaly the bombroom is closed for public because its inside the Navalbase.

If your project is really stuck I could make contact but its a long process to get clearance and hek of a long drive (for Dutch people) to get some photo's.

Thank you again for your reply. I don't believe these moored mine baseplates will help. but thank you for responding to my requestfor images of a LMB/GC ground mine detonator , cover bung and primer.
The person I am trying to assist needs clear images so that they can be reprodced for his mine. I will try to contact DEODS to obtain images as I know they have a GC
    Thanks again.
    Best Regards,
    John aka Bart
