    Stock mine stake

    Hello everybody
    I just bought a stock mine and want to make a display with it, does anybody know the length of the stake?
    I searched the net but did not find a definite answer, were they random length or was there a standard?
    any help will be appreciated
    Thank you
    Bob

    Merkblatt 29/1 (1.3.1943):

    The stake, of course, was normalized but with slight tolerances;
    lenght approximately 40.0cm, diameter 3.6cm, at the top narrowed to 3.0cm, at the bottom sharpened.
    all the best

    Here a picture of my original stake. 395mm long. 35mm diameter. Otherwise as Sudelmut said before. In center of the upper end is a 10mm diameter and 50 mm deep bore.

    That is a standard stake for use in normal conditions, I found out that they made longer stakes for deep snow and some times they tied them on to fences and trees !
