    Nose cones

I got these in an antique shop yesterday.
The green one is stamped 390 so presumably the large plastic one and aluminium one are from the same?
What type of fuze is the smaller plastic cone off (the one on the right and in the photo on its own)?
    Dave.

    Hi Dave,
I think the smaller one could be for use on the No 206 fuze.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Forgot to add that the others from memory could fit the 199,221 and 390 fuzes.
It's been a while since I stripped one down so could be mistaken!

    Cheers,
    Andy

    Hi Dave,

Yes the "390 Mk" is off an early No 390 fuse - have attached a photo of a Mk2a used on 4.2" & 3" mortar rounds.

I agree with AndyD on the others - the smaller one may also fit a No211 (shown) but I'm unable to unscrew the nose cap to check the base. (yes it is slightly smaller than the 390 cap) I have a No 199 kicking around as well and will post if I can find it and get the cap off.

    Cheers
    Drew
