WWI Bombs, 6" Trench Mortars, and a Toffee Apple

This is the extent of my large WWI ordnance.

6" Trench Mortars - These are two of the very first 6 produced by US Radiator Corp. Dunkirk, NY. Tag reads "In 1917 the U.S. Army asked for bids for the manufacture of these 6 inch trench mortar shells. The U.S. Radiator Corp. Dunkirk, NY got the contract. The first 6 made were sent to Aberdeen, MD proving grounds. They were approved and returned to the plant. Plant officials kept these first 6 made. When the war ended the Dunkirk and Detroit plants were each turning out 5000 shells per day." These two were owned by the manager of the Dunkirk plant.

Very much like the 6" mortars. Seems to be in excellent condition. Not an every find.
