    2 big shell cases

Hi All. I managed to rescue these 2 cases from the scrap yard. A friend of mine was going to weigh them in but i stopped him in the nick of time.
can anyone ID these 2 cases the big on is 845mm high with a neck width of 145mm and is missing its primer. strangely the base markings say 130mm HEP. the smaller of the two is 695mm high with a neck width of 105mm.
any help would be appreciated along with an approx value as im sure he will want to sell them.
    cheers, Paul.

130mm Russian for the large one and 100mm Russian for the small one. The larger one would be worth more, I would think at least $200.00 or more. Smaller one is more common, usually found as a tank case, and you know how many tanks the Russians have had. $100.00?

    Good save!

There were some 130mm Iraqi cases in a local dealer's shop last year and he wanted £40 ea for them.

In Europe these cases are considerably cheaper I would say.
That 100mm looks like a Romanian one (no evidence but the code range fits Romania well). Are any black paint markings left on the side wall?

Paul, it says "HEM" what is the manufacturer. Unfortunately is it not identified so far, it has also been found on 122mm D-30 HE shells. I wonder if it might be a western manufacturer like PRB.

No sign of any paint markings on the outside of either.
