    German WWI trench knife

Sure wish I had the capability to post a picture, but I recently picked up the sweetest German WWI trench knife that I have owned. It is the Hughes #12 marked RAISIERMESSER FABRIK and imperial proofed. The handle retains much of the feldgrau finish and will post a pic when capabilities return. Knives/bayos are kind of a sideline for me and this knife shows well when displayed with a few hodgepodge German WWI grenades and the M1916 stalhelm.Dano
