Hello...the projectile is probably a 40mm Bofors but the cartridge case is 40mm Vickers (2pounder No1) which did not use this projectile.

Hello sent me this picture and wanted to know if the shot could be so
It seems to me that the howitzer is a 40mm bofors, who will perish?
It can be corresto so?

Hi Hasag,Charlie is correct,Looks to be a 40mm Bofors plugged practice projectile in the wrong case. Can you read the markings on the shell? Does it have a tracer fitted or a plug? Cheers Tig.
