Not M72 as far as i know, they look more like for the French 'roc' gun sub-cal,though i don't know much about it.

I got this picture of a fried recently. It is said it’s for the M72 LAW but I can’t find any documentation regarding this. I’m also not sure that both of the projectiles are right.
Can anyone educate me on this item?
Cheers

The left one is the sub caliber for the LAW, the projectile on the right picture is for the 3,5" rocket but it is on the case.
Any Live or Dug ordnance shown by me has been disposed of by military EOD personnel .

Thanks gents
Does anyone have any refference material regarding this subject. Which type of LAW are we talking about?
blu97,
Are you sure about them? The one on the left has what appears to be a rotating band around it as does the one on the right. I thought both (3.5" also) were smooth bore weapons and so were there sub cals too? I had at one time the sub cal for the LAW once and the insert was also smooth bore and the heads were completely different as was the method of firing them Either electric impulse for the 3.5" and a rear percussion tube that runs back up to the rear of the actual tube (LAW) and is fired by a firing pin on a cap at the upper end that sends an immediate flash thru the tube to ignite the rocket. Or something of the sort. I do not have my TM on the LAW in fromnt of me at the moment.

20mm MECAR subcaliber for AT weapons. No relation to the M72 LAW at all.

Yes I am sure we had them in our invetory in the 70's and 80's. The sub caliber of the LAW is sligthly different but we had both.

blu97, thanks a lot for the documents. Great to see they had a LAW adaptor!
