    German WW1 Discus Grenade

I was talking to a fellow BOCN member & he told me he'd never seen the inside of the disc grenade as they are difficult to take apart . Here's a few pictures of an inert one I picked up over the weekend . I have stripped & cleaned it prior to sale & hope the scans are of interest to anyone who is interested in these remarkable grenades . Note also that this is one of the later production that had a pressed steel striker housing rather than the earlier ones that were made of a steel casting with screw in arms for the strikers & det holder etc.
