Anything of interest in Stoke on Trent area?

Hi all
On the way to Stoke on Trent area at the end of the week for a 10 day stay, by bus from Norway
I've checked on the net but haven't come up with very much...
Don't have own transport so needs to be easy to get to with public transport.
Wondered if there are any militaria shops or places of interest in the area?

Any tips greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure how easy it would be to get there by public transport but the RAF museum at Cosford is only about 25 miles (40km) away.
