I found this item yesterday at the Military Show at Arlon, its a German 3 kg Demolition Charge Ball Type. the owner has never used any filler, so i will leave it like it is, until i find a better one, Ben

some informations....

Geballte Ladung 3Kg Kugelform (weight 3,5kilo filling 3kilo Amatol).
the spherical 3 kilo charge was developed 1940 by WASAG - Rheinsdorf.
This explosive was mainly used by sappers/ engineers (Pioniere, Sturmpioniere). It was used for urban warfare (Häuserkampf) and against strongholds (Festungsanlagen). For example it was rolled or thrown into tunnels. Some of these where found on german paratrooper positions in russia......always rotten away because of the very thin material.....
