    My latest wind vane,

    new spitfire 044.jpgnew spitfire 029.jpgnew spitfire 033.jpgnew spitfire 036.jpgspitfire windvane 009.jpgSpitfire scratch built from ply, balsa and pine, prop blades cut from a deodorant can.Prop spins on an unused WW2 control cable bearing from a B25, as does the centre pivot. Squadron codes are spurious. They do in fact form the initials of the person I built the plane for.
