In light of this year's price craze over just about ANYTHING Japanese, I'd not be shocked at all to see someone actually buy it at that price. I kid you not, it seems like the prices of the Japanese stuff have doubled or tripled since +/- January this year; even very common items like 50mm knee mortars (which I used to buy for around $100) now all have opening bids starting at $299. :S
