USA Pressure Firing Device M1A1

USA Pressure Firing Device M1A1 from what i have found is a mechanical device used for firing explosive charges it can be fitted mines ,hand grenades, bangalore torpedos and no doubt plenty more ,it comes with a variety of extensions for the pressure head.
Operating pressure is 20lbs
My example has no visible markings

Sorry the info isn't cleaner. It is evident that the model M1 came first with the flat plate underneath, and then the M1A1. Some references show both together.

I picked this up at a local gunshow for $15, unmarked, any way to date it? I screwed it into a MK2 I have. I suspect it is Vietnam era issue as those were fairly common at gun shows awhile back.
