I was wondering how much a 105mm APDS like this one, would cost (just a general number)
Rhys

Everything is relative. If the projectile is a real APDS with WC penetrator and unfired and has a brass case, that would be the highest priced one. I saw steel cased real ones going for $125.00 20 years ago. Some people wouldn't sell them for less than $350.00 now. There are two different projectiles, the U.S. and the UK.

As with anything else, real, with good original factory lettering, etc. would bring the most. Steel case, repainted TPDS projectile, no primer, reassembled fired projectile, etc. would all be things that lowered the price.

I picked up the 105mm L7 case and prac DS for 40 mint condition few years ago . just got another shell case and prac DS in container for 65 mint condition posted . the APDS complete with case prob could get one now for around 100---- 120 maybe less ???? Cheers Ken

Thanks, that helps alot, I have been looking for one for some time now, and just wanted a general range just so I know I'm not getting ripped off. Also does not help that I live in Canada :tinysmile_cry_t4:

Agreed, I paid $175 shipped for just the US M737 projectile not long ago from a US dealer. He said they were rare and has gotten $250 in the past but he has not seen one in a long while. I was able to get a " reduced" price as it was in a package deal. That said, finding a brass M115 case to place it in would be a very hard find and at least another 125 plus bucks or more if offered by a dealer. They are very unique looking rounds and I had been looking for one for a few years.

I have a spare brass case. It has been demilled. The demill removed the primer in a method not easily repaired, but no holes in the case wall and no cuts on the case mouth. Its been sitting in storage and will need to be cleaned and polished, but its not corroded.
