Hello team, first post, hi!

I happen to have in my posession a rocket with no marking at all, I am led to believe its a SNEB but can someone let me know definitively?

SNEB is French, this looks like a standard US/NATO 2.75-inch, repainted.

Dave,

What you have is a 2.75 inch (70mm) FFAR, Folding Fin Aircraft Rocket. It has a dummy 6-1/2 Lb. warhead and a Mk. 40 motor which is the older Vietnam era motors with foldout fins. SNEB rockets are French made and are 68mm. The guy on specialist auctions has both types of 2.75 inch rockets, the MK.40 short motor like yours and the Mk. 66 motor which is also called the Hydra, which has roll-out fins and has a longer motor body. When he says his are SNEB type, he doesn't know what he is talking about. Your warhead is the oldest design and smallest used on the 2.75 inch rocket. They also had 10 Lb. and 17 Lb. warheads. The Hydra program is what was designed to be used on the Apache helicopters, where the antiarmor warhead has 9 HEAT submunitions inside like the 9 heads on a Hydra.

Chaps thankyou indeed for the clarification, it appears D&B also don't know what they are talking about then! Any ideas what it's worth?

I agree that D&B doesn't know anything either. They can't even measure the diameter of what they have for sale, and market it as something that doesn't exist.

It would be worth more if it had a real warhead with real fuze, and if it hadn't been repainted. If you are buying, $25.00 to $50.00. If you are selling, $50.00 to $85.00. That would be here in the states, I can't say for your area.
