Artillery projectile borne submunitions

I would have a few question and think they fit in here best.

German Bundeswehr used (amongst others)

DM1348
DM1383
DM1385(A1) Subs

As far as I know IMI produced DM1348 (IMI licence) and DM1383 & DM1385 where also produce from IMI under licence from Rheinmetall. Is that correct?

Thanks a lot

I looked it up and pictured them : the DM 1348 and 1385 use the same projectile body (aluminium cup with serraded steel rings around it); the DM1348 uses a simple slider like the M42 /M46 without a self destruct element, the DM 1385(A1) uses a slider with a self destruct mechanism. The 1383 is a totaly different design; it has a one piece steel body and a wide slider without a self destruct meachanism.

Regards, DJH
