I was messing around with the collection today and pulled out a few of the experimental (or less common) rounds for a group shot.
Thought it would interest a few of you.
If anyone is stuck on what any of them are just say.
All INERT.
Dave.

Dave, please make a list with what they are. They look real strange to me as an old german Marine collector.

Yes, post a list. This pre 1920 old fart,-ere, fossil, would like to know what some of the strange items are. Lots of study, work and engineering are evident there.

Hi Buddy, Grey case with writing on top row to the right. Is it a 30x172? if so what is it?

C.

Hi Charlie, yes its a 30 x 172.
Gau 8 type alloy case with a APFSDS style dummy projectile (solid, mock up).
Its crimped in and was inerted prior to me getting it by drilling a hole in the case.
Dave.
