4.2" beds

I think this should about kill it and if Tankerbarrel wants to make a sabot, here is most of what he needs to know, unless someone has a technical drawing.
This is from the earlier pamphlet TimG referred to and shows the demise of the Mor 4.2" BEDS. The next version had no reference to there ever having been a BEDS.

Thanks AE501, you're a star! I can now make the sabot and think about the fin. Funny thing is, I have a feeling I have the remains of a similar fin somewhere....
 
not sure if this adds anything to this thread but perhaps of interest if anyone is thinking of painting up a 4.2". Dave

There doesn't appear to be many of these mortars left here in the UK so I have posted a couple of pictures of my 4.2" mobile base plate from my collection for those who have not seen one.
