37mm Projectile ID needed

Hi all.
Need an ID on this 37mm Projectile please
37mm diameter & 80mm tall

At first thought might be a good home job!!
Base is stamped with a D in a circle - unable to make out the other stamping - whichever way I look at it!?
No crimp groove as you can see?
Pom Pom projectile? - I always thought these were crimped?
