Hi all, I came across this the other day on the Inner Hebrides, I notified the correct agencies but my question is; who made it, UK/ German/ other, make/model and what is that brass thing, is it an over pressure valve?

Hi,

It is a UK Moored mine (Base plate). The brass thing is a arming safety device based on a soluble plug. I can give you more details if you need it.
