Hi,

At the picture attached is a headstamp of a case
length: 383mm
diameter: about 76mm - the mouth is deformed but 76,2mm projectile fits perfectly.
rimm diameter: 92mm

I am no expert on headstamps so please feel free to correct my thoughts:
76,2mm case manufactured in Japan (crossed barrels at 12) later reloaded by CR and/or MB.

Bob,

Sorry to dig such an old thread, but maybe this is useful.
This case is originally made in Japan in 1915, and then refilled by Romania some time between 1930-1945, I think by Malaxa.

Thank You Irod7,
is the primer screw marking (or the lack of) also Romanian?

Since this is a reloaded case, it should be, but the markings do not have the typical Romanian style of markings, so I don`t know what to say.
