This arrived this week from Greece - delivered by a carrier with a Hernia as it very heavy.
From the technical drawings it appears to be the rearmost propellor and shaft from a Mk 14 torpedo.
( page 71 -77)
http://maritime.org/doc/torpedo/part2.htm
There are numerous numbers on it.
The shaft has SL10335 ; 91913 and 18376 as well as US anchor , and other symbols.
The aft locking hub also has 91913 as well as 8538
The prop has RH pitch 34 i" 3' ; 10001 - TP - 17546 17377 9/XXXX
It came from Greece so I assume dredged up in the mediterranean.
Can anyone confirm the above or divine any more details from the markings ?
