Whitehead Fiume Torpedo pistol

Now I have kind of identified my latest find, I am interested to find more information. I noticed that my torpedo pistol is very similar to the attached drawing which would be nice to find the rest of it and would be nice to see what safety pin would be used. Can any of you Torpedo experts help. Looks German but most probably Austria Hungary, marked K.K.M.4L/6 6597 a/32. there is also a very small initial by the side of the a/32 marking.

Just to add this pistol has R.W initials Robert Whitehead, just checked will post picture.
 
K.K.M. Kaiserliche Königliche Marine, 4 or 6 meter length torpedo, serial number.
