I wonder what the Germans did with "Upkeep", where did it finally end up?

Most were disassembled at the end of the war to scrounge needed raw materials. There is only one that I know of in collections, namely the one in the courtyard of the "Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung" of the Bundeswehr in Koblenz. That one has been nicely preserved and newly painted with all original markings. But, like everywhere in the west, they are short of money. If this collection would not be used as a "study collection", but just a museum, it would already have been closed. I hope that there will be enough people with political influence that have an interest in preserving technical history for the future. I did take photographs on my last visit there, but don't seem to find them now. If I find them, I'll post them later.
