Hello all,
I recently got in this mint inert US 30mm M759 HEDP fuze. I have wanted a nice complete 30mm HEDP for some time now but never wanted to shell out the 200$+ for one. This is now part 1 of the puzzle! Its perfect condition, never loaded or used, and still has 3 internal components.
The only problem is it does not have the steel cap on the front of the fuze and does not look like it ever had one put on either. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a repro cap? I doubt I will find one on its own. My only 2 ideas now are to take air-dry modeling clay and sculpt it into shape, or get someone to make one from metal and have it crimped on (I dont have any of the required tools). All ideas are appreciated!
