This Russian movie, "72 metres" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401089/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1, is a serious story with comic inclinations. A Russian Northern Fleet submarine is taking part in a large scale exercise, it must successfully attack a surface convoy, then escape and hide from being detected for a day. Unfortunately, one of the mock depth charges disturbs a WWII chained naval mine, it floats and hits the hiding submarine. Great scenes of mayhem unleashed by destroyers, you'll love pyrotechnics.
A training torpedo goes under a destroyer and shoots a series of charges into the air, obviously indicating a direct hit under real war circumstances. May someone explain how such training torpedoes work. I am not at all torpedo savvy.
Here is the whole movie but in Russian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9KwfzPUI-8
