Hallo,
your wooden mine, with a 5cm mortar round, is fuzed with a Z.Z.42. In the foto it looks as if the zz42 is screwd into the original bakelit-mortar-fuze. How has this been done ? The mortar fuze does not have a threaded hole, originaly.
Greetings,
Bellifortis.

Hi,
here some pics from the web. Maybe even from this forum.

Hello, I didn't know Germans used their own ammunition to make "Behilfsminen", I thought these were always made with captured ordnance as the drawing sugests since it looks like a French 50mm mortar round. Very interesting indeed. Thank you.

Hallo,
in the literature this type of mine is mostly described as russian. To me the mortar round looks like a 5cm german round. This was outdated already in 1939 and supplies were used only for training. The small size of this shell makes it perfect for using in a "Schuh"-type mine. Judging by the above posted fotos, all inner working parts of the WgrZ. T have been removed, a small upper ring sawed off and then a threaded liner glued in. This could have been done in any small workshop. Like this, otherwise useles ammo could be used to some effect.
regards,
Bellifortis.

Here a document that shows that the mortat was used as late as 1943.
