75x277mm Unknown

Hi, Can anyone help me identify the round in the photo below.

The case is 75x277R and dated 1944, it also has a logo comprising upper case characters MB.
The projectile solid, unmarked other than the paint, is boat-tailed and has a little ridge unlike most driving bands I know.

unnamed (2).jpg

The projectile is solid AP, with 10mm ish pocket where the tracer used to be and overall length is 235mm
The headstamp is marked MB 1944 XF4700 P7
The Primer is marked L40 14

I have checked my references, can't find a match. The few AP rounds that I found, had wind screens and different style rotating bands. As all my refs are for Army ordnance, possibly this is a Navy round.

It is Swedish for the M1900/1902 model Krupp standard field gun.

official case length is 278 mm like most others for the Krupp Field Guns of this time.

@Hoeksel: do you know what MB means?

Crown over MB stands for Mariefors Bruk AB, Finland

Excellent, thank you everyone. I found nothing searching the internet, and always impressed on the qty and detail of responses here.
Given the date 1944, who would have been using the gun, and would it have been in any SPGs, AFVs etc...eg Stridsvagn m/42

Quote John T. (Sweden):

"I pretty sure that MB with a crown with big cross means Ammunitionsfabriken Marieberg.

1. Marieberg had a documented production of 37mm cases.

2. Id doubt that Mariefors in Finland would have made 37mm cases in 1938.
The gun where accepted for Finnish service in October 1938.

3. the crown of Mariefors bruk do not look like the Crown on the case.

4. In Marieberg logo the M and B did "touch" each other, as on the case,
while Mariefors Bruk had a distinct space between the letters. "

In which case the Green paint on the projectile and case also matches that in the 9th photo, with the word Åskåd still just visible.
....am googling as we speak

Perfect BDGreen, the 5th image (nr 54) is the very same beast.
Ok so the final question is what åskådning (phonetically Ors-kord-ning) mean -- translates its "Outlook" which I'm fairly sure isn't an email client.....is it as simple as Practice? or similar?

Point 5.) I think in 1944 Finland had other things to do than producing ammunition for Sweden :)

Finally, found what I was looking for.. and thank you to everyone for the fantastic information and links.
Used with the Swedish Stridsvagn M/42....(and presumably an ATG)
