IDENTIFICATION HELP needed, Fragmentation Body
Can anybody help with Identification of UNKNOWN FRAGMENTATION Body?
Pre-Owner did state that he did get the item from Italy and it is most recently
from an Antipersonnel Mine.
DESCRIPTION
The item is made from one common pipe-shaped piece, which is from it´s
outside-shape divided in three different looking portions:
The non-prefragmentated superior portion is outside Cylindrical with an
outside-diameter of 57mm, the center-portion is conical with an diameter
between 65 mm (Top) and 58 mm (lower side), followed by a cylindrical
bottom-portion with an outside-diameter of 55 mm. All made from one c
ommon piece, which is in the Center all the way drilled through (inside-
Diameter 38 mm).
In the superior portion there is on one side a single 4mm diameter hole
which is not drilled through and does carry no thread. Most recently this
was made to get a here missing End-Cap connected via counter-screw or
dollpin M

DETAILS ON FABRICATION AND FINISHING
Item is exactly round and shows neither on the inside nor on the outside
any seems. This means after casting the unfinished part had been machined.

Total Length: 160 mm
Outside Diameter: between 55 and 65 mm
Inside Diameter: 38 mm (all way drilled through, from Top to Bottom)
Weight of Fragm.Body: 1.9 KiloGram (precisly)
Stamp-Mark: not clear / letters MC or MO or OW in Oval

- No pitting, only Flush Rust
- Inside Prefragmentation and also Interior Remains of Light-Blue (RAL 5012)
- Little evidence of Olive-Paint
