From the online Digital Collections, McCracken Research Library, Buffalo Bill Center Of The West (Cody, Wyoming, USA), is an excellent series of high definition images of technical diagrams, advertising etc pertaining to artillery and small arms ammunition. Detailed drawings from Hotchkiss, Bethlehem Steel Company, Winchester Repeating Arms Co. etc. including cartridge cases, projectiles, cartridges, fuzes, primers and so on.

I have received some emails from IAA Forum members indicating that they are unable to download a usable image from the Digital Museum image page via the download tab found on the image page. I too have not been able to download an image. If someone has been able to get the download function to work, please pass that along for the rest of us.

There are image manipulation tools you can use associated with each image you choose that allow you to enlarge the image.

One method that will work, but is tedious, is to frame up what you want to see, push the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. You will then need to paste (control V) the image in any photo editing screen, size it, and save as a Jpeg.

Press "Print" instead of "Download". A window opens with the enlarged picture. Klick right mouse key into the picture. Chose "Graphic save under..." (on my german computer it's named "Graphik speichern unter ...") and save the pic to your harddisc. The saved pic has screensize then.
Hope this helps a little bit.
