Hello all. The owner thinks this is Japanese but I doubt it. Could this be Chinese, french or Spanish WWII era? I don't know mortar rounds other than Japanese. Any help is appreciated. No markings can be seen on the fuze or body. I sent the owner an email asking about markings. I'm waiting for a reply.

Yes, Minenaz16 is right (how is usual!!!)
It's the mortar grenade Spanish ECIA (Esperanza y Cia).

Sometimes it can wear this mark (see picture).
By the way ... no fuze is a shipping cap.
